Local FHTSupport Groups are a hub where therapists can meet and discuss issues affecting their business.

The groups are a place where practitioners, students and in many cases the public, can meet and hear
from speakers on various topics within the fields of complementary health care, beauty and sports
therapy.

Why Attend a Local Support Group Meeting?
As an independent therapist it is all too easy to feel alone and isolated. This can be a factor in leading therapists to abandon their profession.

The Local Support Group network has been created to dispel many of these feelings and allow you to feel part of a much larger family, both at a local and a national level.

These meetings offer a chance to meet with other like-minded people and share your experiences as well as the opportunity to enjoy furthering your knowledge by listening to various speakers.

The Local Support Group meetings are also a useful way to meet your Continuing Personal and Professional Development commitments, as all attendees are given a certificate of attendance worth 2 credits for each event attended.
